Look at this Google search for the term Bioaccumulation

Bioaccumulation is the concentration of a substance, such as a pesticide, in the body of an organism. 

Bioamplification is the increase in concentration of a substance, such as a pesticide, as it moves higher up the food chain or food web.

Your task today is to create a poster, using microsoft Word or Publisher, which illustrates the terms Bioaccumulation and Bioamplification.  Use the google image search to get ideas but you have to create your own illustration.  Print out your completed work and submit to the teacher.

Today, you are to read pages 146 and 147 of your text, “Waste Management or Mismanagement”.  Read The Issue, Goals, Gather Information and Identify Solutions

Your task for today is to list 3 main steps you plan to take in order to reduce the amount of garbage you produce in the short term (next 3 months) and in the long term (next 5 years).  List these steps as a comment on this post.

Be sure to be reflective and descriptive as to how these steps will reduce the waste you create.

Groups that have not yet presented are to be prepared to present tomorrow (Tuesday).
